There’s a wildness in their yellow eyes. A wildness I believe many people yearn for. A wildness that will never be, can never be, tamed. But in many ways, they too mirror us. And it is because of those two things wolves stir up waves of differing emotions within us. Through photography, I hope to provide an intimate look into the wild lives of wolves to foster conversation and understanding. As Barry Lopez said;
“Throughout the centuries we have projected onto the wolf the qualities we most despise and fear in ourselves.”
